to the Eagle Creek Volunteer Fire Department website.
The Eagle
Creek Volunteer Fire Department serves the Eagle Creek
Community. We are located 5 miles north of Dadeville on
State Highway 49 / Horseshoe Bend Road.
News
Our
department received a 2005 Fire Fighters Grant from the
Department of Homeland Security to purchase a new pumper.
On May 18, 2006, we received our 2006 International KME pumper.
We
are now collecting dues for 2006. Letters were sent at the
end of May to all property owners. Dues are
$30.00.
Our
property owners database was updated this year with new
information from the Tallapoosa County Revenue Commissioners
office. If your information is incorrect please let us
know.
Update:
As of 5/18/2006 we had collection approximately 33% of our dues.
Our
Annual Steak Supper was held on August 27, 2005. We sold 360
steaks. Thank you for your support.
Meetings
Our
regular business meeting is held the first Monday night of each
month at 7:00 pm.
Our
regular training meeting is held on the third Monday night of
each month at 7:00 pm. Other training meetings are
scheduled and announced during the regular training meeting.
